Removing the Driveshaft

We removed the driveshaft from the Mustang yesterday. (My 7yr old son did most of the un-bolting.)

Attic Ladder Install

I finished getting the attic ladder installed in my garage today.

Progress June 4th

Today after work I cleaned and re-organized the garage some, cut a hole in the ceiling for the attic ladder, and mounted a bike hanger for my bike.

Two Feet to the Right

I moved the mustang a couple feet towards the center of the garage last weekend to start re-organizing my garage so I can make enough space to start working on the car again.

I bought this kit to see if it would be a good fit for an Arduino class I am planning and hoping to teach at my kid’s homeschool co-op next Spring.

As you can see it comes with a LOT of components, and a wide variety too. If all of the components actually work I think this is going to be a great little kit. 

I will post more as I actually start using this kit and getting together a set of lesson plans.

Removing the driver side door latch

My driver side door was stuck closed for a couple weeks, so when I finally got it open again tonight I decided to remove the latch so it won’t get stuck shut again.

At first I wanted to remove the striker, but these screws are pretty stripped out.

The door latch was held in place by two screws. It looks like there should be a third screw but it’s missing.
