Removing the hood on a 1968 Mustang

The hood is held on by four bolts, but since I have one of the blinker hoods I had to disconnect two wires first.

The yellow and green wires go to the blinkers. 

There is also a ground wire that fastens to the car body above the brake master cylinder.

After those were disconnected it was a simple matter of unbolting four bolts and taking the hood off the car. 

 

My car now has no hood.
