Repairing a broken wire on my old Black Max air compressor

My rather old Black Max air compressor stopped working the other day. I suppose I should have paid more attention when it started spitting sparks at me whenever I turned it on. :-)

The relay would turn on, but the motor wouldn't go. 

A little bit of tearing apart via removing four hex head bolts found a disconnected wire. 

I had to run to the hardware store over my lunch hour to pick up the crimp on ring connectors I needed to fix this. 

But they worked great. 

I now have a working air compressor again.
