The wire that runs to the starter also has a 1/2 inch nut on that end.
The lag screws that go through the inner fender and actually fasten the starter solenoid onto the car have 3/8 inch heads.
I pulled the positive battery terminal off the engine at this point too since it made sense to put it in the same bag as the negative one. That has a 9/16 inch head bolt.
If I can afford to I want to invest in a brand new wiring harness for the whole car, but I am not throwing out any parts yet. This would be relatively expensive but so is a car that catches fire because of an electrical problem.
