I put this on my birthday/Christmas list because it looked cool, was under $30 and I have a hard time picking out things for Christmas lists. I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it if I got it though. Well, I got it for my birthday in early December, and decided to actually try putting it on my belt to see if it came in handy.

Short version, I love this thing! I use it all the time now, in situations where I never would have thought about how useful this kind of thing could be.
